Hello Dere.

I'm Bruce McNichols of Radio OKOM.  I was all for the creation of this discussion group.  Then, as I thought more about it, I began to wonder if I'd be opening myself up, to a deluge of complaints about what we don't play on Radio OKOM.

Fact is, we try very earnestly to satisfy any and all requests, for old-time music.  We make no claim to having every trad jazz recording ever made so please keep that in mind.  That said, we do have hundreds (thousands?) of LPs, CDs, cassette tapes and 78's.  We've even got some 8-track tapes, none of which we've ever played.  

Bottom line for me, is that I am anxiously awaiting to hear from all of you.  My one request is that you mention how you heard of us.  My other "one" request, is that you help us by spreading the word about OKOM and the e-mail discussion group.
