I spend 3 winter months in Sarasota, FL and on Sundays sometimes go over
to Bradenton to play in a session run by pianist Ruby Vinson (87 and
going strong). About 3 years ago on a Sunday, Al showed up and blew a
great rendition of "Alice Blue Gown". I haven't seen him since.
