[Tradjazz] Jazz at Chautauqua 2007

Hope this doesn't sound like an advertisement, but I'm such a fan of this annual festival, I wanted to share it with the list.  Each Joe Boughton and the Allegheny Jazz Society put on what has to be one of the best traditional jazz festivals around.  They hold it in the perfect location -- the Atheneum Hotel at Chautauqua, NY -- each fall.  This year's dates are September 13-16, 2007.  I hate to list only some of the musicians that participate because they're all top notch, but names that come up on this list include Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, Howard Alden, Dan Barrett, Frank Tate, Marty Grosz, Joe Wilder, Duke Heitger and a score of others.  They usually sell this festival out by early July, so check it out on AJS's website at www.alleghenyjazz.com.  This one is not to be missed!
