Hi GJB Fans,

SUNDAYS at Marisa's in Trumbull!
Our last appearance at Marisa's (until the fall!!) was last night, Sunday,
April 6th, 2008, 6-8:30, with guest trombonist Skip Hughes and guest
vocalist/sax lady Sarah Spencer! And what a great night it was! A sold out house, in
spite of the Final Four UCONN game. Skip rocked the house with Bona Sera,
the crowd loved Sarah's TV Mama and Railroad Man blues renditions, and the
dancers cut the rug with A Train. There were birthday celebrations too: Robin,
Irene, Cindy, and of course Toni Cunningham's 92nd birthday! Excitement was in
the air, culminating with the crowd fanning white napkins to a rousing Tiger
Rag! We look forward to seeing you all in September!

Special Appearance, Sunday, April 20, 7PM show, doors open at 6:30PM, at
Chow, 964 Chapel Street, on the New Haven green, behind Zinc. It's 'The 1940's
Radio Hour' starring Joel Schiavone, Fred Vigorito, Bill Sinclair, and Steve
Bulmer! Take a trip back with us to those thrilling days of RADIO…when we used
to sit and talk… and use our imagination! The $20 admission includes food -
something more than hors doeurves, but not quite a dinner. There is only
room for 60 people, and this show is sold out, so call 203-772-3002 now to be put
on a waiting list, or we'll see you next time.

Bill Logozzo's Heartbeat Jazz Band will be at Olivers in Essex on Thursday,
May 1st, 7-10PM, with Skip Hughes! This is a great spot, nice casual
atmosphere, and good food at a reasonable price. Of course the music is hot hot hot!
Dancing too! Look for them at Olivers usually on the first Thursday of each
month. Contact Bill Logozzo at Bill at nutmegchrome.com or
www.heartbeatjazzband.net for information on the band and how to order CDs.
