Hi folks--

Sunday, April 13th I'll still be in New Orleans playing at the French
Quarter Fest
(see www.kellsojazz.com for details),
so I won't be at the Ear Inn,
but bassist Greg Cohen,
guitarist James Chirillo
and trombonist John Allred will be there
with a mystery guest star holding down the fort
(and swinging their collective ass off, too).

I'll be back with my trumpet the following
Sunday, April 20th with
Scott Robinson on sax and clarinet or whatever he wants,
guitarist Matt Munisteri and
bassist Greg Cohen--look out!
That'll be an extra juicy one,
as was this last Sunday with clarinetist Orange Kellin, Matt and Greg,
hoowee!

Come see me play with *"the EarRegulars"* every Sunday night at the
Ear Inn<http://www.jamesbrownhouse.com/book.html>,

8:00-11:00 pm with *Matt Munisteri* <http://www.mattmunisteri.com/> on
guitar
and a variety of guest bassists and miscellaneous horn-or-whatever players.
The Ear is at 326 Spring St. (between Greenwich and Washington streets),
almost all the way to the West Side Highway. 212.226.9060.
It's one of the oldest bars in NYC, with a very interesting history going
back to 1817.
No cover or minimum, but please visit our friend Phillup DeBucket
(that's a subtle way of saying we have a tip jar).
Or else one of us has to walk home. In the cold. (Cue tragic violin music.)
There's yummy inexpensive food served late, casual attire is fine,
Victor, the coolest bartender ever, excellent waitstaff...and it's always a
fun hang!

salutations from New Orleans (good weather here, too!),

Jon
