Some months ago, the kind folks at Jezebel Music
<http://www.jezebelmusic.com/> asked Craig Chesler if he would curate
one of their weekly Songwriter Showcase
<http://www.jezebelmusic.com/songwritershowcase.html> nights. He asked
me to participate, and I jumped at the chance. We're very proud of
the line-up for the Wednesday, February 20. 2008 Jezebel Music
Songwriter Showcase
<http://www.jezebelmusic.com/songwritershowcase.html>. I hope you'll
come out and enjoy an evening of unique and beautiful and rockin' music.

NICK OGAWA <http://www.myspace.com/takenobu>: *"Back in late September,
a songwriter named Nick Ogawa stepped up to the mic, cello in hand, and
proceeded to blow the audience away on three separate evenings...While
the songwriter can clearly hold his own solo, like a modern day Robert
Johnson, his heart lies in the complex, orchestral arrangements that
Sufjan Stevens is so fond of."* Ben Krieger, Jezebel Music

MARNI RICE <http://www.myspace.com/marnirice>: *"If New York
accordionist Marni Rice's evocations of Paris chanson feel like highly
accomplished homages, when she lets rip with her own urban gypsy punk,
she's amazing."* Metro, UK

BLISS BLOOD <http://www.blissblood.com/index.html>: * "...as a
songwriter, frontwoman/uke player Bliss Blood absolutely owns the
nouveau-Gatsby-era genre. Foremost among her original songs here is the
gorgeous, heartbreaking, minor-key Dirt Road Life, which works either as
a contemporary maquiladora ballad or a lament by a 1920s sweatshop
worker here in New York." *- Lucid Culture

DREAMBOAT <http://www.myspace.com/dreamboatsongs>: *"Kelli Rae's
performance is kick-ass big."* Gabriel Levitt, Jezebel Music *"Chesler
understands the audience deserves his best and consistently delivers
it."* Ben Krieger, Jezebel Music
