Hi folks--

Sorry about the short notice--
thought you might enjoy this unusual gig I'm doing
Friday March 21st late night (midnight 'til ?) gig at Banjo Jim's
with the Cangelosi Cards with special guest Will Gallison-harmonica.
OK, so technically it's a Saturday gig since it starts at midnight.
This is a fun and unique young band I recently heard for the 1st time.
It was at one of their regular Monday nights at Banjo Jim's,
I sat in with them and had a blast,
and so the good folks there suggested we collaborate and play together.
Banjo Jim's is at 9th Street and Avenue C.
No cover charge--just bring something for the tip bucket, please!

And I'll be at the Ear Inn as usual on Sunday, March 23rd
leading the EarRegulars,
Dan Block on clarinet and sax
(who'll be getting there as soon as he can from the Andy Farber big
band performance at Birdland, they're there every Sunday 6-8pm),
Matt Munisteri-guitar,
Greg Cohen on bass, and myself on trumpet.
8-11-ish pm, 326 Spring St., way out west.
Also no cover. Also a tip jar.
