Bruce & Tony,
I heard that accordion. Add my name to that one listener (or maybe I'm it)
to that version (with the accordion) of Tico Tico by the Deluxe Vaudville
Orchestra. If you go to their website at
http://home.earthlink.net/~deluxevaudeville/index.html, you can get a couple
of snippets of their CD (you might want to try airing their "Puttin' on the
Ritz on the same CD as Tico Tico - I doubt if I'll ever get to hear their
"Lady of Spain" or "William Tell Overture". I guess I'll have to buy their
cds.) Also, they have a lot of factlettes (little facts) about vaudeville -
very interesting.

BTW, if you ever get to London, you won't want to miss The Players Theatre,
a faithful re-creation of British Music Hall Theatre. A not-to-be-missed
experience. They've had difficulties in maintaining a venue but I'd plan my
trip around when they had shows booked - it's that good. A step back in
time to what was the equivalent of vaudeville in England, complete with
costumes, sing-a-longs and such. Here's their website
http://www.playerstheatre.co.uk/.
