[Tradjazz] SanFrancisco Style Jazz

TradJazz,

Listening to Bruce McNickles today on OKOM and his playing of Lu Waters, Bob
Scobey, Turk Murphy, Clancy Hayes,  et al, reminds me of my introduction to
the SanFrancisco style of jazz in the 40's. In fact I was fortunate to see
Turk when he was playing at the Italian Village in 1953-54. Always crazy
about Dixieland jazz, the San Francisco style and modification found me
playing my hundreds of records in my free time. Now that we have OKOM, I
just plug in the web site and I'm home!
