Since 1962, the Smith Street Society Jazz Band has been dispensing all types of old-time music from traditional jazz, through the classic sounds of the Roaring 20’s and the music of the Swing Era and beyond.

In the 1980’s, Smith Street became the House Band for the venerable radio station WNEW, where they performed original compositions for Al “Jazzbeaux” Collins, Ted Brown and William B. Williams.
